Romance movies and real-life relationships
in the present romance is one of the most popular genres to watch on television. Unlike most love is a variation of the story that revolves around the love between two main characters because of the experience of high and low love. “Common themes that revolve around romantic movies are kissing, love, at first sight, tragic love, destructive love, and sentimental love” (Taylor). Watching romantic movies has a huge negative impact on viewers' analysis of how romantic relationships really should be. These films give the wrong impression of reality when it comes to dating, marriage, having children, and even how to manage a relationship in the first place. after watching romantic movies like this, there are many influences on personal life relationships. They portray that love is the only thing that matters. In the past, love was secondary. parents organized relationships because their children wanted to be involved in land or states and it did not matter whether the couple really loved each other or not. Today, parents have almost no say in who their children fall in love with. Romance movies over-emphasize love when it comes to “falling in love at first sight” and the idea that “true love conquers all”.however, my opinion is that by producing meaningful films that set the right model for society, society can get exactly what love is.
